Told me I would have to wait over the weekend until Monday for the parts I needed. I was able to source the parts myself but they didn't want to install them. Eventually they did install them for me at 5 on Friday. Which was great it got me on the way again.
Highly recommended!We were traveling for 3 weeks on our honeymoon and had some issues with our dual battery system. We dropped in first thing on a Monday morning and despite being super busy, Rod and the team fit us in and diagnosed the problem. They were able to sort a temporary solution AND give good advice about a long term fix. Rod even tied some just married balloons to the dash for a laugh. Lovely people and reasonably priced too. Were considering making the 10hour drive from home to come back and get the rest of the work done here once our holiday is over.
Tea Gardens Auto Electrics & Mechanical is a family run business which are very polite and helpful to their customers. Always helpful with directions to get to their workshop and helps out when your in need of a lift home or can't pick the vehicle up until after hours.
My experience was not good here. Pretty shocking actually. I would recommend ANY other autoelectrician in town.
I recently left a VW Golf with Tea Gardens Auto-Electrical and Mechanical. organization. The car was left on Monday 5th June 2017 with a request to reset the warning lights I could not reset due to a flat battery. I picked up the car on Friday 16th June 2017. It was not fixed. The lights could not be reset for several reasons including not having VW specialized equipment, etc. Cost $484.00.Nobody called me to authorize tests for $484.00. My experience with professional organizations is that I receive a call from the service center to explain the work that may need to be done, and an estimate of the total cost, or the hourly rate if open-ended. I then either approve the quote or limit the hours spent finding the fault.
